Job summary

Sheraton Istanbul is seeking a Kitchen/Operations Manager to oversee daily kitchen utilities and staff, ensuring smooth dish room and back dock operations, while maintaining budget and high standards of cleanliness and service.

Responsibilities include supervising non-cooking staff, inventory control, and enforcing sanitation and safety guidelines to deliver consistent guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or related field.
• 2 years experience in procurement, food/beverage, culinary, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen utilities operations and staff.
• Oversee dish room, night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance.
• Supervise kitchen employees not actively cooking.
• Maintain operating budget and monitor food and supply inventories.
• Enforce sanitation, safety, and cost-control standards.
