Job summary

Tricon Switzerland SA is a global petrochemical trader seeking a Logistics Operations professional in Fatih, Istanbul. The role oversees product, documentation, and payment flows for physical trades while coordinating vessel loading and export/import processes.

You will ensure safe carriage, maintain ERP data integrity, and collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and suppliers to optimize costs and service levels. Fluency in English and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required or preferred.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, trade operations, or physical movements.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, import/export procedures and shipping docs preferred.
• ERP experience is advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills and data accuracy are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage product, documentation, and payment flow for physical trades with customers and suppliers.
• Plan and coordinate vessel and container loading with logistics providers.
• Assess transportation options to ensure safe carriage and compliance with specs.
• Handle import/export customs processes and ensure timely documentation.
• Maintain trade and shipment data in the ERP system in line with policy.
• Coordinate with Finance, Credit, Compliance, and other teams on trade requirements.
• Negotiate rates and service terms with logistics and inspection providers.
• Communicate shipment status clearly with local and international teams.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and cut costs.
