Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a procurement leader to manage global supplier activities for large steel fabrication. You will oversee supplier qualification, audits, and development to build a competitive international network.

You will collaborate with senior management to implement the global commodity strategy, ensure supply chain resilience, and drive cost optimization through value engineering and cost analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or business administration.
• Several years in strategic procurement, commodity engineering, supply chain, or quality management.
• Knowledge of welded structures manufacturing and EN/ISO standards.
• Experience with APQP-WIND and PPAP processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and cost-analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Own global supplier management for large steel fabrication.
• Lead supplier qualifications and build an international supplier network.
• Collaborate to implement global commodity strategy.
• Ensure stable, resilient supply chain across Flender locations.
• Provide technical support and develop supplier management.
• Drive product and technology projects, incl. new product introductions.
• Interface between procurement, engineering, quality, and suppliers globally.
• Identify cost optimization and value engineering with CVE team.
