Job summary

Hayat, a leading FMCG group, seeks a Global Robotics Systems Manager to drive automation across its production facilities. Based at the Kocaeli headquarters, you will join the Global Technology Development team and align mechanical design with automated systems.

With 10+ years in automation and robotics in large-scale manufacturing, you will lead cross-functional, international teams, advance digitalization, and implement AI-powered and smart factory applications to raise production quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in automation, machine design and robot systems in large-scale manufacturing.
• Periodically evaluate automation maturity, robot density, and technology adaptation levels across all lines.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis management capabilities.
• Strong ability to influence and collaborate across functions, supported by excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Highly proactive, self-motivated, and accountable, with a strong ownership and results-driven mindset.
• Excellent planning, prioritization, organization, and execution skills.
• Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to manage changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic corporate environment.
• Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, learning, and new technologies.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel as required by the role.
• Based in Kocaeli or willing to relocate to Kocaeli.

Responsibilities

• To ensure full synchronization between the mechanical design and automation teams to achieve the integration of newly developed machines or units.
• To determine and implement the strategic roadmap for automation, digitalization, and robotic transformation of the facilities.
• To evaluate the automation maturity level, industrial robot utilization and integration levels on the lines, and technology adaptation.
• To adapt artificial intelligence-powered systems and smart factory applications to the lines to increase production quality.
• To plan, budget, and coordinate automation retrofit projects to extend the lifespan of existing production lines and machinery, and to adapt obsolete/end-of-life PLCs, drives, and control systems to current technologies.
• To lead line balancing (MTM), cycle time reduction, and downtime optimization projects using 6 Sigma (Black Belt level) methodologies.
• To lead the engineering and technician team working in the field of automation and robotic systems, plan their competency development, and coordinate field operations.
