Job summary

Eczacıbaşı İlaç Pazarlama is seeking a Medical Affairs professional to help shape scientific strategies, engage with physicians, and support product lifecycle activities. You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure medical accuracy and impactful communications across therapeutic areas.

The role requires strong English, pharma experience, and a readiness for travel. Hybrid work options and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Faculties of Medicine.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Preferably 2–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Valid driver’s license and active driving experience.
• No restrictions for travel.
• Military service completed for male candidates.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the creation of scientific and medical strategies in responsible therapeutic areas and playing an active role in their implementation.
• Tracking patient and physician needs, current scientific developments, and trends in the therapeutic area to provide meaningful insights to Medical and Business Units.
• Managing scientific communication with physicians, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and other healthcare professionals; conducting medical visits, meetings, and scientific discussions aligned with needs and product strategies.
• Contributing to the preparation of scientific content, educational materials, and presentations for assigned products and therapeutic areas; providing medical training to field teams and relevant stakeholders.
• Supporting the planning and execution of medical strategies and activities for new product launches and lifecycle management of existing products.
• Working in close collaboration with marketing teams to develop innovative projects and solutions tailored to patient and physician needs.
• Contributing a scientific and medical perspective to the evaluation of new molecule and business development opportunities; generating insights based on literature, clinical data, guidelines, and real-world data.
• Collaborating with Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Quality, Compliance, Clinical Research, and other relevant functions to ensure the medical perspective is reflected in key processes.
• Reviewing medical content for scientific accuracy, currency, and compliance with applicable regulations as well as company ethics and compliance rules.
• Effectively utilizing digital tools, OCE applications, and AI solutions in medical processes to enhance workflows and field experiences.
• Tracking scientific advancements, new therapeutic approaches, and developments in competitor/alternative treatments to keep relevant stakeholders informed.
• Attending national and international congresses, symposia, and scientific meetings, and sharing the resulting scientific insights with relevant teams.
• Ensuring the planning, prioritization, tracking, and evaluation of medical activities within the scope of responsibility.
• Conducting all activities to high scientific and professional standards in line with Eczacıbaşı’s ethics, compliance, and patient-centric approach.
