Job summary

CATL in Türkiye (Bursa plant) is hiring an IT Infrastructure Engineer (Server & Network) to own the network and foundational IT infrastructure for the new plant site. You will manage data center, servers, campus network, WAN, and ELV systems to support plant operations.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years in IT infrastructure, strong experience with enterprise networking gear (Cisco/Huawei/Fortinet), virtualization (VMware/KVM), Windows Server and RHEL, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Security, Network Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of professional IT infrastructure experience.
Proven experience in network operations within medium-to-large enterprises; design, plan, and implement wired and wireless architectures.
Experience with Aruba or Huawei wireless solutions is strongly preferred.
Expertise in enterprise networking gear (firewalls, routers, core switches) from Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet.
Hands-on experience with open-source monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana); able to deploy and configure monitoring for networks and servers.
Solid understanding of server virtualization (VMware, KVM); Windows Server and RHEL 8/9 environments are preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork; working proficiency in Turkish and English.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end planning, design, and implementation of Turkey plant IT infrastructure—including data center, server, campus network, internet, and WAN to support plant operations.
Oversee design, deployment, and operational management of IT data centers, server rooms, and ELV infrastructure.
Monitor network bandwidth, traffic patterns, hardware utilization, and critical link connectivity; ensure timely alert response and rapid resolution; ensure network security.
Support servers, storage, and backup systems with virtualization, capacity planning, backup policy design, and monitoring.
Manage local IT vendors in Turkey by coordinating resources to keep infrastructure construction and daily operations on schedule.
Follow IT requirements of China HQ to implement and adapt standards and policies locally.
