Job summary

HID Global, a part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support security printing hardware worldwide. You will perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and preventive service at customer sites, coordinating with the service helpdesk and customers across international borders.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service and maintenance activities.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical/electronic systems.
• Strong customer communication and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Discussing and resolving malfunctions with customers by telephone or on-site.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and service bulletins to determine approach.
• Collecting tools, parts, software and manuals for repairs.
• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs at customer sites (domestic and international).
• Advising customers on upgrades and spare parts for optimal performance.
• Providing maintenance training based on training materials.
