Job summary

KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, seeks a Compliance Specialist to implement and maintain the Global Ethics & Compliance Program for KMTA (Middle East, Türkiye and Africa). Based in Istanbul, you will report to the Compliance Manager, KMTA, and help promote a culture of compliance across the region.

Your responsibilities include designing training, conducting risk assessments, guiding local policy implementation, and supporting investigations and anti-corruption

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, law, finance or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant compliance experience.
• Experience conducting internal investigations.
• Background in internal controls or internal audit is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Turkish (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the MEA Türkiye region.

Responsibilities

• Design and provide training on compliance matters.
• Supports the implementation and improvement of global compliance policies locally.
• Conducts risk assessments at a country level and develops action plans.
• Supports and promotes the local operation of reporting channels for compliance violations.
• Conduces internal investigations related to various compliance issues when required.
• Provides advice to employees and management on compliance topics.
• Promotes a compliance-oriented culture and mindset in the region.
• Initiates internal awareness activities related to the Code of Conduct.
• Supports governance processes to cascade compliance initiatives.
• Analyses and proposes compliance improvements for local activities.
