Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote ethical behavior and a culture of compliance throughout the company.
• Support implementation of ethics and compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Assist in ethics reporting, investigations, and reviews.
• Support anti-bribery, conflict of interest, gifts, and third-party risk management.
• Contribute to due diligence for suppliers and business partners.
• Support sanctions programs administered by OFAC, EU, UK, and UN.
• Participate in sanctions screening and third-party compliance assessments.
• Support data protection and privacy obligations.
• Assist in training and awareness campaigns.
• Prepare compliance documentation for audits and generate periodic reports.
• Collaborate with group companies to meet corporate compliance requirements.

We are a technology company with projects in more than 10 countries. We are looking for a Ethics & Compliance Specialist to join us in our headquarters office in İstanbul. The role will be responsible for:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, International Relations, Management Information Systems, or a related social sciences discipline.
• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in ethics and compliance, internal control, internal audit, risk management, legal affairs, or similar fields.
• Knowledge of corporate ethics, compliance programs, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and/or GDPR practices.
• Knowledge of Anti-Bribery & Corruption (AB&C) frameworks and practices.
• Familiarity with OFAC sanctions, international sanctions compliance regimes, export controls, and third-party risk management processes.
• Knowledge of Anti-Fraud and Anti-Corruption Framework (AFA) principles and corporate fraud risk management practices.
• Preferably experienced in sanctions screening systems, Third-Party Due Diligence (TPDD), and compliance monitoring processes.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good command of English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the promotion of ethical behavior and a corporate compliance culture throughout the company.
• Support the effective implementation of ethics and compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Participate in activities related to the identification, assessment, and monitoring of compliance risks.
• Work in coordination with relevant departments during ethics reporting, investigation, and review processes.
• Support anti-bribery and anti-corruption, conflict of interest, gifts and hospitality, and third-party risk management processes.
• Contribute to due diligence activities conducted for suppliers, business partners, and other third parties.
• Support compliance activities related to sanctions programs administered by OFAC, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United Nations.
• Participate in sanctions screening, restricted party checks, and third-party compliance assessments.
• Support processes related to personal data protection and data privacy obligations.
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of ethics and compliance training, awareness, and communication activities.
• Assist in preparing compliance documentation requested as part of internal and external audits.
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic compliance reports and presentations for management.
• Work collaboratively with group companies and relevant stakeholders to support the fulfillment of corporate compliance requirements.
