Job summary

Karadeniz Holding is seeking an Accounting Assistant Specialist for its Accounting department at the Istanbul HQ. The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting, at least 1 year of accounting experience, and fluency in English. Knowledge of SAP, Logo, and E-Declaration is preferred, with strong organizational and communication skills.

You will review transactions, monitor accounts, process invoices, and support audits while working in a hybrid setup with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a relevant university department.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting and taxation.
• Knowledge of tax legislation.
• Proficiency in English.
• Previous experience in a similar position within a global organization is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience and knowledge of SAP, Logo, and E-Declaration software applications.
• Strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and strong organizational skills.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Review the accuracy and compliance of accounting entries for intra-group and external transactions.
• Monitor the 103 Temporary Account and clear outstanding differences.
• Review invoices for compliance and record in SAP or Logo.
• Review import files and perform final entries in SAP or Logo.
• Record expense documents in SAP or Logo.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and report discrepancies.
• Prepare documents for audit teams and support audit processes.
• Monitor facility cash sheets and perform month-end reconciliations.
• Process inter-vessel sales: stock checks, draft/final invoices, SAP/Logo entries.
• Upload supplier invoices to EBA for approval and follow-up.
• Archive accounting vouchers per procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers and departments on accounting processes.
