Job summary

Linde Gas A.Ş. in Gebze is seeking a Plant Manager for Packaged Gases to lead operations, drive safety culture, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role oversees cylinder filling, testing, inventory, lab and quality activities, while delivering KPI-driven performance and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a chemical engineering degree with 5+ years in industrial gases or production operations, strong leadership, and English proficiency to collaborate across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven leadership in plant operations, projects, and stakeholder management.
• Solid knowledge of regulations, industry standards, quality systems, and compliance.
• Experience in budgeting, performance management, and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Gebze Plant Manager - Packaged Gases

What You Will Enjoy Doing

• You will lead, develop, and engage plant employees while fostering a high-performance, accountable, and safety-focused culture
• In addition, you will ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, labor, quality, and regulatory requirements, including all legally mandated management responsibilities
• You will also manage relationships with governmental authorities and ensure all required permits, licenses, certifications, and accreditations are maintained
• Beyond that, you will lead and optimize cylinder filling, testing, inventory, laboratory, and quality management activities to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction
• You will drive plant performance through KPI management, continuous improvement, cost optimization, budgeting, and resource efficiency initiatives
• At the same time, you will ensure asset reliability and lead engineering, maintenance, capital investment, automation, digitalization, and capacity expansion projects
• You will also collaborate with commercial and support functions to achieve business objectives, enable growth, and implement innovative and sustainable solutions

What Makes You Great

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in industrial gases, manufacturing, or production operations
• In addition, you bring strong leadership capabilities and proven experience in people, project, and stakeholder management
• You also have solid knowledge of applicable regulations, industry standards, quality systems, and operational compliance requirements
• Your experience includes business and operational management, including budgeting, performance management, and continuous improvement
• Finally, you demonstrate strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, combined with proficiency in English and digital tools
