Job summary

invent.ai is seeking a Frontend Engineer to build interfaces used by retail planners for inventory, allocation, and pricing decisions. Work in a data-dense environment with large grids, complex filtering, and multi-locale formatting.

You’ll own features end-to-end, potentially touching backend code, APIs, and tests as needed. You’ll collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to translate planning problems into scalable frontend solutions, contributing to architecture

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional web app development with 2+ years in React.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with state and server-state management and component libraries.
• Solid HTML5/CSS fundamentals and responsive layouts.
• Willingness to work across the stack and learn a business domain.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve web applications in a React/TypeScript codebase.
• Build performant UIs for large datasets with grids and filtering.
• Own features end-to-end, including backend changes when needed.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts and data flow.
• Write and maintain unit, component, and E2E tests.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and design system improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality.
• Analyze feature results, hypothesize, and implement improvements.
