Job summary

Digitopia is hiring to turn client needs into scalable AI-driven solutions. You will prototype, test, and support generative AI applications using AWS, Anthropic models, and API integrations with enterprise systems including SAP.

The role requires experience across software engineering, AI/ML, and data, plus fluent English and strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will work across product, consulting, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience across software engineering, AI/ML, data or solutions engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Python; knowledge of Kotlin/Java backends or TS/JS frontends preferred.
• Understanding of APIs, SQL, data pipelines, software architecture, version control, and cloud environments.
• Built or contributed to an AI/ML or generative AI application.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort with evolving requirements and ambiguity.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
• Experience with AWS, AWS Bedrock, and Anthropic Claude is a plus.
• Familiar with AI patterns and enterprise integration.

Job description

• Turn client needs into technical solutions by working with Digitopia’s consulting, product, and engineering teams.
• Share recurring client needs with product and engineering teams to shape reusable solutions.
• Prototype, develop, test, and support the implementation of generative and agentic AI solutions.
• Build with AWS services, Anthropic models, and other technologies selected according to each project’s needs.
• Contribute to agentic applications, including evaluations, guardrails, and appropriate reliability and context-management practices.
• Integrate solutions with APIs, data sources, business applications, and platforms such as SAP.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contribute to technical planning, identify potential risks, and help turn prototypes into practical solutions.

Requirements

• Relevant experience across software engineering, AI/ML, data or solutions engineering, technical consulting, or a related field.
• Comfortable coding in Python and ideally at least one additional language from our stack, such as Kotlin or Java for backend services, or TypeScript/JavaScript for frontend development.
• Understanding of APIs, SQL, data pipelines, software architecture, version control, and cloud environments.
• Built or meaningfully contributed to an AI, ML, LLM, or generative AI application.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with evolving requirements and making progress without having every answer upfront.
• Fluent in English; an additional language is a plus.
• Experience with cloud & AI platforms: AWS, AWS Bedrock, and Anthropic’s Claude is a plus.
• Familiar with AI patterns: Agentic AI, RAG, vector databases, prompt caching, evaluations, and guardrails is a plus.
• Experience in backend & integration: Kotlin, Java, Spring, gRPC, OpenAPI/Swagger, PostgreSQL, SAP or SAP BTP, and enterprise system integration is a plus.
• Familiarity with data & infrastructure: Databricks, Snowflake, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD is a plus.

Demonstrates expertise in developing and implementing generative AI solutions using AWS services and various programming languages, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to address client needs. Proficient in integrating APIs and data sources, with a strong understanding of software architecture and cloud environments.
