Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Road Mechanic to service and repair a diverse fleet. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs to minimize downtime on job sites, including challenging remote locations.

The role requires 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work safely in dynamic environments. Training and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent training preferred.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Flexibility with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual ability may be required depending on location.
