Job summary

BSI in Türkiye is seeking a Sustainability Auditor and Verifier to conduct audits and verification of client management systems against ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and GHG standards such as ISO 14064-1. The role is field-based in Istanbul with frequent national travel and occasional international trips.

You will prepare assessment reports, present findings, and help clients improve sustainability performance across sectors like metal, cement, and chemicals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of industrial experience involving management systems in metal, chemical and/or cement productions (mandatory).
• Lead auditor training and/or third-party auditing experience in management systems certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 (mandatory).
• Third-party verification experience for GHG schemes (e.g. ISO 14064-1) (mandatory).
• Excellent mathematical and analytical capabilities with advanced Excel knowledge (mandatory).
• Knowledge of ESG reporting standards (GRI, TSRS, ESRs) and assurance standards (ISA/EE 3000, AA1000AS) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent audit and verification of clients’ management systems against ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
• Verify GHG emissions under ISO 14064-1 and related schemes.
• Prepare assessment reports and present findings to clients to support improvement.
• Adapt assessment approaches to different industries and clients, including CBAM considerations.
