Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Turkey seeks a Transport Planner to support import/export operations and international logistics. The role focuses on OD tracking, KPI data, and coordination with carriers, customers, and regional teams.

You will monitor bookings, track shipments, and ensure timely ETAs, while handling shipping documents and data in OTM and Power BI environments. Strong English and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Import/Export and international logistics experience.
• Air and Sea freight operations experience required.
• Upper-Intermediate level in English (verbal and written).
• Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Excel); Power BI a plus.
• Shipping documentation knowledge (Invoice, ATR, CMR, BL).
• Experience with Oracle Transport Management System (OTM) is a plus.
• Strong KPI understanding and root cause analysis skills.
• High customer focus and teamwork spirit.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up orders on OTM using Power BI reports.
• Monitor booking and loading status of shipments.
• Track AWBs/BLs via airline and shipping line sites.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly KPI data.
• Check shipping instructions and related documents.
• Track in-transit shipments and update ETAs with root-cause follow-up.
• Update transport system with arrivals and carrier updates.
• Escalate daily problems and inform customers of delays.
• Attend and host DDS with regional planning teams.
• Control non-value-added costs and demurrage with root-cause analysis.

Job Description

• Follow-up orders received on OTM by using PBI reports
• Follow up booking and loading status of the shipments
• Monitoring / track & trace AWBs / BLs via airline / shipping line websites
Supporting daily / weekly / monthly KPI data preparation
• Checking shipping instructions from suppliers and other documents (Invoice, PL etc.)
• Tracking all in transit shipments and in case of ETA changes, asking for root cause from carriers and updating new ETA on tracking system
• Tracking actual arrivals with carriers and updating on transport system (OTM)
• Daily problem escalation and informing customer about delays
• Attending and hosting customer DDS with the regional planning teams
• Non-value-added costs and demurrage control on daily basis and root cause analysing
