Job summary

LC Waikiki is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management & Business Continuity Specialist/Executive to lead the ERM program across the organization. The role focuses on identifying critical risks, developing mitigation strategies, and integrating business continuity with risk management.

Fluency in Turkish and English is required, with travel as needed. You will partner with business units to embed risk-aware decision making, enhance data-driven KRIs, and drive resilience initiatives within a global

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in risk management, consulting or related roles in retail/global orgs.
• Experience with ERM frameworks and KRIs is desired.
• Strong analytical and research skills with data handling.
• Excellent communication in Turkish and English, with reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Enterprise Risk Management approach across the organization.
• Assess emerging risks and monitor changes via KRIs for senior management insight.
• Support strategic investments and transformation with risk perspectives.
• Enhance ERM with data analytics, digital tools and automation.
• Strengthen risk culture and maturity, aligning with business units for mitigations.
• Coordinate integration of business continuity, crisis management and disaster recovery with ERM.
• Lead Business Impact Analysis and interdependency assessments for critical processes.
• Develop continuity and recovery strategies considering dependencies (people, tech, third parties).
• Oversee the readiness of continuity plans and coordinate exercises and testing.
• Capture lessons learned from disruptions to improve resilience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Big4, management consulting firm or risk management work experience in leading retail companies and/or global organizations
• Undergraduate or Master's degree in business administration, economy or engineering
• Hands on experience with enterprise risk management, familiarity with ISO 31000
• CRMA certification is an asset
• Research oriented with strong analytical skills, comfortable to work with complex quantitative and qualitative data
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and reporting skills, both in Turkish and English
• Results oriented, maintaining a clear focus on risk and value creation, demonstrating commercial judgment
• The ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others inside or outside the organization
• The ability and desire to work cooperatively with others on a team as a team member
• Self-disciplined and self-motivated with strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to travel in Turkey and abroad

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and ensure the effective implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) approach across the organization,
• Assess critical and emerging risks across the organization and monitor significant changes through Key Risk Indicators (KRIs),
• Provide senior management with a risk perspective and decision support for strategic decisions, investments, and transformation initiatives,
• Enhance the use of data analytics, digital tools, and automation within ERM processes to support a more dynamic and forward-looking risk management approach,
• Strengthen the organization’s risk culture and support the continuous improvement of risk management maturity,
• Work with business units to ensure that significant risks and related mitigation actions are effectively managed,
• Coordinate the integration of business continuity, crisis management, and disaster recovery activities with the overall ERM approach,
• Coordinate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and interdependency analysis for critical business processes,
• Support the development of business continuity and recovery strategies by considering critical process, technology, people, location, and third-party dependencies,
• Oversee the effectiveness and ongoing readiness of business continuity plans, and coordinate related exercises and testing activities,
• Evaluate lessons learned from business disruptions and exercises to contribute to improving the organization’s operational and enterprise resilience.
