Job summary

Yıldız Tech in Turkey is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to shape the future-state technology landscape across the Group. You will define principles, standards, and roadmaps, and collaborate with PMO, Security, Infrastructure, and development teams to ensure architecture decisions are actionable.

The role emphasizes governance, reference architectures, data models, security, and core ERP standards, with a focus on cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture or related governance roles.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks; TOGAF or comparable certification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience across domains: Business, Application, Data, Technology, Security, or Integration Architecture.
• Experience with architecture reviews, target architectures, standards management, and decision support for complex environments.
• Good understanding of demand management, project lifecycle governance, and portfolio visibility.
• Experience with CMDB/asset management and architecture repositories is preferred.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, cloud/hybrid platforms, security-by-design, and operational sustainability.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, or similar multi-company environments.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL, Azure/AWS architecture certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and govern enterprise architecture principles, standards, target-state architectures, and roadmaps in alignment with business priorities and Group technology strategy.
• Drive business–technology alignment by translating strategic priorities, capabilities, and demand inputs into architecture decisions, reusable patterns, and implementation guidance.
• Take an active role in demand management and evaluation processes by providing architecture assessments, identifying risks, clarifying dependencies, and shaping solution direction.
• Lead architecture review activities across business, application, data, technology, security, and integration layers to ensure consistency and compliance with standards.
• Contribute to the publication, adoption, and continuous improvement of Group-wide IT principles covering enterprise architecture, data model, security, and core ERP / business process standards.
• Define and evolve reference architectures, architecture checklists, design guardrails, and governance mechanisms for cloud, on-prem, hybrid, and integration-heavy landscapes.
• Establish and sustain architecture inventory discipline with ownership, criticality, and data quality standards.
• Collaborate with PMO, IT Governance, Security, Infrastructure, DevOps, and delivery teams to ensure architecture decisions are actionable.
• Support business capability mapping, application rationalization, lifecycle planning, and architecture documentation practices across the enterprise.
• Mentor teams and stakeholders on architecture thinking, governance expectations, decision records, and design quality.
• Keep enterprise architecture tools, repositories, and core artifacts current and decision-ready.
• Monitor emerging technologies and recommend pragmatic adoption paths where value is measurable.

• Support business capability mapping, application rationalization, lifecycle planning, and architecture documentation practices across the enterprise landscape.
• Mentor teams and stakeholders on architecture thinking, governance expectations, decision records, and design quality while fostering a culture of standardization and continuous improvement.
• Keep enterprise architecture tools, repositories, and core architecture artifacts current, accurate, and decision-ready.
• Monitor emerging technologies and industry practices, evaluate their relevance for Yıldız Holding, and recommend pragmatic adoption paths where they create measurable business value.

What will be the qualifications we expect from you?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field; master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, software architecture, or closely related technology governance roles.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methods, and governance practices; TOGAF or comparable architecture certification is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience in at least one or more enterprise architecture domains such as Business, Application, Data, Technology / Infrastructure, Security, or Integration Architecture.
• Experience in architecture review, target architecture definition, standards management, and architecture decision support for complex enterprise environments.
• Good understanding of demand management, project lifecycle governance, portfolio visibility, and cross-functional evaluation processes.
• Experience with application inventory, CMDB / asset management, lifecycle management, or enterprise architecture repository disciplines is preferred.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, cloud / hybrid platforms, security-by-design principles, and operational sustainability considerations.
• Preferably experienced in manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, or similarly complex multi-company operating environments.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL, Azure / AWS architecture certifications, or architecture governance certifications are a plus.
