Job summary

ÖZEL TARSUS SEV İLKÖĞRETİM KURUMLARI seeks a passionate middle school English teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role delivers the CEFR-aligned English program within a bilingual school, guiding students to develop reading, writing, speaking, and literacy skills.

The candidate should hold a valid teaching certificate, a BA in English, and at least four years of teaching experience; Aero English Language Arts background and differentiated, student-centered instruction are preferred.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PASSIONATE MIDDLE SCHOO6 ENGLISH TEACHER FOR 2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

To implement the English Department’s agreed instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfil their academic potential.

To fully understand, embrace and implement Tarsus SEV School's mission, vision, goals, and motto as the drivers for the student learning objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Valid teaching certification in the subject to be taught

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

A minimum of four years of teaching experience in the field of certification

BA in English

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Knowledge in current instructional methodologies, “student-centered” classrooms, curriculum development and evaluation, differentiated instruction and student assessment

Experience with and desire to work in a bilingual / multicultural environment

Well-rounded ability to provide quality instruction in all areas of the English language arts with a special emphasis on reading and writing literacy, literature, speaking and use of language.

Demonstrated ability to integrate technology, ESL/EFL teaching strategies, and research-based formative/summative assessment into the learning environment/experience

Experience teaching English using Aero English Language Arts Curriculum framework K-12 standards and performance indicators and Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR) guidelines in a well-respected middle school/educational institution that highly values academic achievement in preparation for high school studies

Previous overseas teaching experience.
