Job summary

Cummins Europe in Istanbul, Türkiye is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead precision machining supplier quality across the EMEA region. You will drive improvements, implement robust metrology, and guide NPI activities to achieve Zero Defect Mentality with cross-functional partners.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, hands-on experience with precision machined parts, and proficiency in quality tools like MSA, PFMEA, and SPC.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
Hands-on experience with precision machined products.
Experience in Manufacturing, Operations, or Quality roles.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Act as the EMEA expert for precision machining processes within the Global Supplier Quality team.
Drive continuous improvement across suppliers producing high-precision components.
Establish process controls and metrology practices for tight tolerances.
Lead NPI activities using APQP and PPAP to ensure Zero Defect Mentality.
Lead supplier audits, root cause analysis, and quality improvement plans.
Coach stakeholders in Lean, Six Sigma, and quality tools.
