Job summary

ViPulse Technology A.Ş. in Turkey is seeking an Embedded System Software Engineer with at least 2 years of professional experience to design and maintain firmware for microcontroller-based systems.

You will develop software modules and peripheral drivers, contribute to unit and integration tests, and collaborate with the hardware team to ensure robust, portable code. The role requires strong C skills, ARM Cortex-M experience, UART/SPI/I2C, and debugging with SWD/JTAG, plus reading English

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional embedded software experience.
• Proficient in C, including pointers, memory management, and bitwise operations.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, HAL libraries, and register-level programming.
• Hands-on experience with UART, SPI, I2C; knowledge of interrupts, timers, and DMA.
• Ability to write modular, testable code and unit tests with Unity/CMock or similar.
• Experience debugging with SWD/JTAG and using oscilloscope or logic analyzer.
• Ability to read schematics and English datasheets and reference manuals.
• Experience with Git-based version control and code reviews.

ViPulse Technology A.Ş., founded in 2023 at Ostim Teknopark, brings together the expertise of its group companies in electronic hardware and software design, power electronics, electromechanical system design and manufacturing, and wire harness solutions under one roof. About the Role

We are looking for an Embedded System Software Engineer with at least 2 years of professional experience to develop firmware for microcontroller-based systems. You will develop and maintain software modules and peripheral drivers, contribute to unit and integration tests, investigate issues on target hardware, and collaborate with the hardware team.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C, including pointers, memory management, and bitwise operations.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, HAL libraries, and basic register-level programming.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of UART, SPI, and I2C; working knowledge of interrupts, timers, and DMA.
• Ability to write modular, maintainable, and testable code; basic experience writing unit tests and using mocks with Unity/CMock, CppUTest, or equivalent tools.
• Ability to debug target software through SWD/JTAG and investigate hardware interfaces using an oscilloscope or logic analyzer.
• Ability to read electronic schematics and understand technical documentation in English, including datasheets and reference manuals.
• Experience with Git-based version control; familiarity with code reviews and technical documentation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with STM32 microcontrollers and STM32CubeIDE.
• Knowledge of C++ or experience developing test automation scripts and tools in Python.
• Experience with FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or another RTOS, including task communication and synchronization.
• Experience integrating one or more of Ethernet, CAN, USB, and BLE.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI, automated builds, static analysis tools, and MISRA C guidelines.
• Experience with bootloaders, secure boot, or firmware update mechanisms such as OTA.
• Familiarity with safety-critical software development, requirements traceability, risk analysis, or FMEA.
• Experience configuring and running AI agents, setting up MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, and integrating them with development tools; ability to build agentic workflows for code development, debugging, log analysis, and test automation, and validate generated outputs through code reviews and testing.
