Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Elevator Modernization Engineer in Turkey to interpret site surveys, assess system conditions, and develop feasible modernization solutions. The role requires AutoCAD proficiency and deep knowledge of EN 81-20/81-50 standards.

You will prepare layout drawings, perform technical calculations, and manage cost estimates and BOQs. Collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Field teams is essential to drive successful proposals and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in elevator modernization or related field.
• Strong knowledge of modernization processes and components.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for detailed drawings.
• Knowledge of EN 81-20 and EN 81-50 and related safety standards.
• Ability to interpret survey data and translate to feasible modernization solutions.
• Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and pricing studies.
• Good command of written and spoken English, able to read and prepare technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Review site survey reports and interpret measurements and findings.
• Assess elevator systems and identify modernization solutions per project.
• Prepare and revise mechanical/electrical drawings for modernization projects using AutoCAD.
• Develop layout drawings, shaft plans, and technical details for modernization.
• Perform technical calculations ensuring feasibility and standards compliance.
• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and material requirements.
• Determine project scope and prepare technical docs and BOQ.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Installation, and Field teams.
• Provide technical support during proposals and tenders.
• Ensure designs comply with elevator regulations and safety standards.
• Keep up with developments in elevator tech and standards.
