Job summary

Pro-Per Energy Service LLC is seeking Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineers to lead testing and commissioning across global substations (33/11 kV). You will manage a team, perform primary/secondary tests, and coordinate schedules to ensure on-time project completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of electrical systems. The role involves rigorous QA/QC, safety, and client liaison across international projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of testing experience or design/construction of substations.
• ZIV protection relay experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform protection relay and HV/LV substation equipment tests.
• Test vacuum reclosers, pad-mounted transformers, instrument transformers (PT/CT), surge arresters, switchboards, grounding, and relay systems.
• Ensure field tests are completed accurately and safely.
• Develop and execute substation test procedures.
• Mentor field testing technicians on substation systems and power systems.
• Develop testing and commissioning departmental/project requirements.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance in testing processes.
• Liaise with clients and personnel on technical matters.

ELECTRICAL TESTING & COMMISSIONING ENGINEERS

Join our team as we are expanding to new horizons!

We are looking to hire an Electrical Testing and Commissioning Engineer to work in various projects that we are conducting around the world.As Electrical Testing and Commissioning Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the commissioning and testing activities in the 33/11 KV Substations. You will be responsible for managing a team of commissioning technicians, performing primary and secondary tests, coordinating schedules, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Requirements for the Electrical Testing and Commissioning Engineer role include:

Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Power & Controls, or equivalent.

5+ years of proven demonstrated experience on testing experience, or design and construction of similar facilities. Experience in ZIV protection relay is a plus.

Must have an expert understanding of electrical systems.

Proficient in reading electrical single lines, DC schematics, and equipment wiring diagrams.

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects and tasks.

Must exhibit advanced knowledge of electrical industry standards.

Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership skills, attention to safety, strong analytical, problem solving and trouble shooting skills.

Must be advanced in the use of testing equipment as CMC256 and CMC100 and tools.

Responsibilities

Performing test of protection relays and substation electrical HV/LV equipment.

Ensures the performance of all field testing on substation equipment is completed accurately and safely.

Provide technical instruction, mentoring, guidance with regard to substation systems and electrical power systems to field testing technicians.

Develop testing & commissioning departmental and project requirements.

Ensure compliance of testing QA/QC process.

Regularly meet and liaise with clients and other personnels with responsibility to act independently on technical matters relating to testing & commissioning.

Consults with client on testing and commissioning projects.

Maintains excellent relationship with client and field personnel.
