CACTUS recruits an Editor to leverage subject-matter expertise to evaluate and refine research manuscripts, ensuring scientific accuracy and discipline-specific clarity while enhancing language quality. Qualifications

• A PhD degree in Medical Physics or Nuclear Medicine (mandatory).
• Strong publication record, with 5–10 or more first-author publications (mandatory).
• Prior peer review experience.
• Ability to critically assess study design, methodology, statistics, and interpretation.
• Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate scientific content and ensure discipline-specific accuracy.
• Excellent written English and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in scientific editing or academic publishing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and edit manuscripts to improve clarity and readability while preserving authors’ meaning.
• Ensure subject-specific terminology and scientific arguments are accurate and audience-appropriate.
