CACTUS, a leading editor services provider, seeks an Editor to refine research manuscripts with subject-matter expertise, ensuring scientific accuracy and discipline-specific clarity while improving language quality.

You will help researchers worldwide publish in prestigious journals by applying rigorous editing standards and journal-format guidelines, leveraging your strong academic background.

Qualifications

• PhD in Nuclear Medicine or Medical Physics (mandatory).
• 5+ first-author publications (mandatory).
• Prior peer review experience.
• Excellent written English and attention to detail.
• Experience in scientific editing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and edit manuscripts to improve clarity, coherence, and readability while preserving authors’ meaning.
• Ensure subject-specific terminology and scientific arguments are accurate for the audience.
• Improve presentation of complex findings for publication readiness.
• Edit manuscripts to meet high academic writing standards and format per target journal guidelines.
