Job summary

Drillmar Resources is hiring a Driller for our client's 7th generation drillship. This is a permanent position with mobilisation in coming months and a 28/28 rotation. Applicants must be UK, EU or South African nationals due to work-permit restrictions. The role requires at least two years' MODU experience in the past five years, deepwater drilling, NOV Equipment expertise, IWCF Level 3, OPITO BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS, and OGUK/STCW medical fitness.

Qualifications

• Owning IWCF Level 3 well control certification is required.
• OPITO BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS is mandatory for offshore work.
• OGUK or STCW medical fitness certificate is required for offshore operations.

Job description

We are currently hiring a Driller for for our client's 7th generation drillship.

This is a permanent position and the successful candidate must be available to mobilise in the coming months commence a 28/28 rotation.

In order to be considered, candidates must be UK, EU or South African nationals. This is due to restrictions on work permits in the area of operation.

In addition, the following training / experience is required:

• At least two years' operational experience in this role on-board a MODU (semi-submersible or drillship)within the past five years.
• Experience of deepwater drilling campaigns.
• NOV Drilling Equipment expertise.
• IWCF Well Control - Combined Surface & Subsea - Level 3.
• OPITO Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) or Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET) with CA-EBS.
• Medical Certificate of Fitness for Offshore Work - OGUK or STCW.
