Job summary

Ably Resources is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician (Topside/Hull) for a major FPU conversion project. The role starts shore-based in Turkey for 3 months, then offshore for about 8 months on a 35/35 rotation.

Ideal candidates will have strong background in static mechanical equipment, Topside/Hull work, and FPSO/FPU projects within offshore oil and gas or shipyard/conversion settings. Accommodation and full board are provided both onshore and offshore.

Qualifications

• Experience with static mechanical equipment on offshore platforms.
• Experience with Topside/Hull construction or conversion.
• Familiarity with FPSO/FPU projects and offshore oil & gas operations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical technical duties on Topside/Hull equipment.
• Support shore-based and offshore maintenance during the phase of the FPU conversion.
• Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards on both onshore and offshore sites.

Job description

The role will initially be shore-based in Turkey for 3 months, before moving offshore for approximately 8 months on a 35/35 rotation.

We are looking for candidates with strong experience in:
