Job summary

Drillmar Resources is seeking Assistant Crane Operators for our offshore drilling operations. We require candidates who can mobilise within the next month and join a fleet of 7th generation drillships on equal time rotations.

Applicants must have at least two years of recent MODU experience and demonstrable NOV knuckleboom lifting equipment operation. Training needed includes Offshore Crane Operator Stage 2, BOSIET/FOET, and OGUK/STCW medical fitness.

Qualifications

• Two years' operational experience on MODU (semi-submersible or drillship) within the past five years.
• Experience operating NOV Knuckleboom lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist crane operations across the fleet of drillships.

Job description

Our client, a global leader in offshore drilling, is currently hiring Assistant Crane Operators across their fleet of 7th generation drillships.

These are permanent positions and the successful candidates must be available to mobilise in the coming month to commence equal time rotations.

In order to be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Due to restrictions placed on work permits and travel costs, we are only able to consider Indonesian or Malaysian applicants.
• At least two years' operational experience in this role on-board a MODU (semi-submersible or drillship)within the past five years.
• Demonstrable experience in the operation of NOV Knuckleboom Lifting Equipment.

In addition, candidates must already be in possession of the following training:

• Offshore Crane Operator - Stage 2 minimum - Stage 3 would be highly advantageous.
• OPITO Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) or Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET).
• Medical Certificate of Fitness for Offshore Work - OGUK or STCW.
