Job summary

University of Maryland Extension (UME) seeks a Director of Evaluation and Reporting to lead program evaluation and reporting across Extension programs. You will design evaluation tools, manage data processes, and report outcomes to stakeholders, aligning with UME’s mission and priorities.

You will develop professional development for faculty and staff, oversee IRB processes, and supervise staff and student assistants to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables for funders and partners.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in a field with strong evaluation emphasis by time of hire.
• Ten years of professional experience in project management or program evaluation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for needs assessments, program development, evaluation, and reporting for Extension Programs and projects.
• Conduct evaluation and reporting activities including data collection, writing, and submission of annual plans and accountability reports.
• Lead and ensure Civil Rights compliance data collection, data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Lead annual program planning, evaluation design, assessment, reporting, and sharing of UME impacts to stakeholders.
• Develop training in needs assessment, program planning, evaluation, survey design, and reporting for in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
• Coordinate communication of evaluation findings and impacts through reports and infographics.
