Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a Head of Diagnostics in Istanbul to shape and drive our diagnostics strategy across Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams. You will lead scientific leadership on diagnostics literature, oversee field medical activities, and ensure accuracy and compliance of materials within delegated authority.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across Therapeutic Areas, with travel flexibility and a solid English language

Qualifications

University degree from a Medical Faculty.
Minimum 5 years of Medical Affairs experience, including at least 2 years in pharma.
Advanced command of written and spoken English.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate diagnostics strategy and Medical Affairs activities in line with company strategy and regulations.
Provide scientific leadership on diagnostics literature and emerging evidence for cross-functional teams.
Oversee diagnostics-related field medical activities from planning to reporting.
Ensure scientific accuracy and compliance of materials within delegated authority.
Develop diagnostics training materials for Medical and field teams.
Coordinate Advisory Boards and scientific engagements per SOPs.
