Job summary

UNICEF Türkiye is seeking a Deputy Representative to lead and manage the Country Office programme, ensuring delivery of results in alignment with UNICEF Strategic Plans and integrity standards.

You will build strong partnerships with public and private sectors, guide programme development, and oversee risk management, safeguarding, and staff welfare in humanitarian and development contexts. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• An advanced university degree in social sciences, international relations, government/public relations, public or social policy, sociology, or similar field.
• A minimum of ten years of professional development experience in development cooperation at the international level, with leadership roles.
• Experience in any UN system is an asset.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of another official UN language or local language is an asset.
