Job summary

Cencora is seeking a warehouse support specialist to ensure accurate handling of inbound/outbound activities, maintain stock accuracy, and improve data integrity across ERP/WMS systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a high school diploma with 3+ years experience in warehouse operations and knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse support, distribution, shipping/receiving, inventory or related roles required.
• CSCP or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review inbound, storage, picking, packing, shipping, transport and returns for accuracy and timeliness.
• Apply warehouse procedures and inventory controls to maintain stock accuracy.
• Refine inventory records and movement data to improve data integrity and visibility.
• Coordinate cross-functional follow-up on inventory inquiries, shipments, returns and order exceptions.
• Reconcile physical inventory with system balances and history to identify discrepancies.
• Maintain logs, inventory reports and warehouse control records to support compliance and improvements.

• Reviews inbound, storage, picking, packing, shipping, transport, and returns activities to confirm accurate handling and timely progression.
• Applies warehouse procedures, inventory controls, and system transactions to maintain stock accuracy and traceability.
• Refines inventory records, location data, and movement documentation to improve data integrity and stock visibility.
• Coordinates cross-functional follow-up on inventory inquiries, shipment issues, returns processing, and order exceptions.
• Reconciles physical inventory, system balances, and transaction history to identify discrepancies and protect inventory reliability.
• Maintains operational logs, inventory reports, and warehouse control records to support compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Associate's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge in warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, transport, and returns.
• Knowledge in inventory control, stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and transaction accuracy.
• Knowledge in warehouse systems, ERP transactions, inventory records, and operational documentation.
• Knowledge in material handling, product movement, location management, and storage controls.
• Knowledge in loss prevention, order accuracy, and inventory traceability practices.
• Knowledge in process improvement methods, workflow control, and operational efficiency practices.
• Ability to analyze inventory data, transaction records, and warehouse activity to identify discrepancies and trends.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex warehouse and inventory issues and determine appropriate resolution or escalation.
• Ability to apply warehouse procedures and operating guidelines with judgment across routine and non-routine assignments.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and support reporting, audit readiness, and data integrity.
• Ability to communicate operational and inventory-related information with internal and external stakeholders on matters of high importance.
• Ability to refine processes and support operational improvements that strengthen warehouse consistency, productivity, and control.
