Borusan Oto Değerlendirme is seeking a Dealer Development Unit Manager to join our team at our Samandıra location.
Responsibilities:
- Perform network assessment and develop network strategy,
- Conduct structured location assessments covering catchment demographics, competitive density, and real estate viability; prepare go/no-go recommendations,
- Build and maintain dealer feasibility models; contribute operational assumptions and track ramp performance of activated dealers against projections,
- Own the end-to-end dealer onboarding process: franchise agreement setup, buildout oversight (CI compliance), system integration coordination, and pre-opening training — single point of accountability from signed agreement to operational launch,
- Manage the full dealer agreement lifecycle: renewal scheduling, amendment coordination with Legal, and documentation management,
- Develop, publish, and maintain the Dealer Standards Manual covering physical, digital, and operational requirements across all network formats,
- Design and own the dealer compliance audit framework; conduct field compliance audits at all active dealer locations, produce scored audit reports, agree remediation plans with dealer principals, and track closure to completion,
- Design and govern dealer training programs for sales, sourcing, and operational staff; coordinate delivery and track completion rates,
- Serve as primary operational contact on BMW Premium Selection, MINI Next, and CPO programs developed by Borusan Next,
- Cascade manufacturer-set targets to Authorized Dealers; monitor performance and support target achievement,
- Conduct structured post-visit analyses at Authorized Dealers; develop SMART action plans and track implementation to closure,
- Monitor retail sales performance and CSI scores at AD level; initiate and lead structured improvement actions when thresholds are breached,
- Ensure compliance with CI standards across the AD network — vehicle display, digital listings, signage, and staff presentation,
- Manage manufacturer incentive submission processes; ensure accurate and on-time delivery
- Execute a structured field visit program across all dealer locations; produce observation reports and develop time-bound action plans in collaboration with dealer teams,
- Identify process deviations in sourcing and sales workflows during field visits; coach dealer teams toward closure and route structural issues with documented recommendations,
- Monitor local market dynamics and competitive activity in dealer catchment areas; deliver regular intelligence summaries.
Qualifications:
- 6–9 years of experience in dealer network development, automotive franchise management, or automotive retail operations, with demonstrated progression in scope and responsibility
- Proven ownership of dealer onboarding, network standards development, or franchise management processes — end-to-end, not just contributing to them,
- Direct experience with BMW Premium Selection, MINI Next, or a comparable manufacturer-certified used vehicle program is strongly preferred,
- Strong field presence and stakeholder management skills: comfortable leading dealer relationships independently, holding accountability constructively, and representing the function with manufacturer contacts,
- Ability to produce structured written deliverables: audit reports, action plans, feasibility inputs, and management summaries,
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office; familiarity with DMS platforms is an asset,
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an asset,
- Fluent in Turkish (required); professional-level English (C1–C2 preferred),
- Ownership mindset — takes full accountability for outcomes, not just activities; defines the problem and drives to resolution without waiting to be directed,
- Structured and disciplined — builds systems, follows through on commitments, and produces work that others can rely on,
- Commercially aware — understands how network decisions translate into business outcomes and frames recommendations accordingly,
- Credible under pressure — maintains professionalism and authority in the field, in manufacturer meetings, and in management reviews,
- Comfortable in a greenfield environment.
