Job summary

AstraZeneca seeks a Data Privacy Partner in Turkey to safeguard personal data, align with local laws and AstraZeneca’s Global Data Privacy Standard. You will work across functions to embed ethical, compliant practices into operations, shaping how data is used to support patients, colleagues, and the wider healthcare ecosystem.

Reporting to the Nominated Signatory & Data Privacy Lead, you will manage ROPA, lead incident responses, review DPIAs, consent management, and liaise with Global Privacy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law.
• 5+ years of experience in data privacy.
• Strong knowledge of data protection principles and Turkey 6698 law.
• Familiar with GDPR or other global data protection frameworks.
• Able to work in a flexible team environment with multiple assignments.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as local Data Privacy SME for Turkey and ensure compliance with local laws and AstraZeneca standards.
• Maintain ROPA and guide owners to keep it up to date; monitor legal changes.
• Lead data privacy incidents and breach responses with root cause analysis.
• Review DPIAs and consent management across programs including AI projects.
• Engage with Global Privacy Office to implement privacy initiatives locally.
• Deliver regular privacy training and raise awareness across the organization.
