Job summary

Maersk is seeking a finance professional for our fixed-term collections role in Turkey. You will manage dunning, payment follow-ups, disputes, and credit reviews while ensuring cash policy compliance and timely closures.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, leverage SAP and MS Excel, and communicate effectively in Turkish and English. The 1-year contract is based in Istanbul and offers global exposure within a leading logistics group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance preferred.
• 1–2 years in finance & collections.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Excellent MS Office, esp. Excel.
• Turkish and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper handling of dunning call procedures and follow-up with customers.
• Make payment follow-ups and assist customers with queries related to AR.
• Utilize collection tools and participate in process improvements.
• Identify errors and take corrective actions on reports.
• Monitor disputes until resolution and coordinate with analysts.
• Review customer credit and align with Collection Manager via analytics.
• Ensure payments are applied correctly and address missing details.
• Meet targets and deadlines and handle issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements.
• Respond to PA and BA messages in a timely manner.
• Enroll in training and career development opportunities.
• Support cargo release approval and container deposit refund processes.
