Job summary

BGTS is a software and technology solutions company with extensive experience in digital transformation, engineering, and enterprise service management. We are seeking a CMS Applications Expert to join our team in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, operating in a hybrid model.

You will work with vendors and internal teams to tailor a CMS for OTT/VOD needs, analyze workflows, plan integrations, and ensure robust, end-to-end testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in broadcasting, OTT, streaming, or media technology.
• Knowledge of linear/nonlinear broadcasting CMS systems and traffic/scheduling (PROVYS, WhatsON, or similar).
• Knowledge of OTT platform services on CMS systems (IBMS, PROVYS, WhatsON, Diagnal, or similar VOD CMS).
• Experience managing enterprise applications on production systems.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language for new projects.
• General knowledge of databases and SQL.
• General knowledge of networks and components.
• Experience with Windows/Linux administration.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container tech; API integration basics.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with vendor and internal teams to adapt and configure the new CMS platform and OTT/VOD needs.
• Analyze current broadcast and content workflows to define requirements and identify improvements for the new system.
• Map current processes to CMS capabilities, identify gaps, and propose workflow adjustments.
• Plan and execute integration of the new CMS with existing broadcast, OTT, and related enterprise systems.
• Support end-to-end testing of workflow adaptations and integrations to ensure requirements are met.
• Role allows on-site and remote work in a hybrid model.

We are looking for a CMS Applications Expert for our client. Our role is based in Beşiktaş, İstanbul with a hybrid model.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the vendor and internal teams to adapt and configure the new CMS platform and non-linear (OTT/VOD) operational needs
  
• Analyze existing broadcast and content management workflows to define requirements and identify improvement opportunities for the new system
  
• Map current processes against the new CMS's capabilities, highlighting gaps and proposing workflow adjustments
  
• Plan and execute integration of the new CMS with existing broadcast, OTT, and adjacent enterprise systems to ensure seamless data and workflow continuity
  
• Support end-to-end testing of workflow adaptations and integrations to validate that the new system meets business and operational requirements
  
• The role requires the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely on a hybrid basis
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BE), preferred Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  
• 5+ years of experience in broadcasting, OTT, streaming, or media technology sector
  
• Preferred to knowledge about linear/nonlinear broadcasting CMS systems and Linear Traffic & Scheduling Systems (PROVYS, WhatsON, or similar)
  
• Preferred to knowledge about management of OTT platform services on the related CMS systems (IBMS, PROVYS, WhatsON, Diagnal, or similar VOD CMS platforms)
  
• Proven experience managing enterprise applications and supporting business-critical, content lifecycle-driven production systems
  
• Master knowledge about one programming language at least developing a new project with,
  
• General knowledge about architectural structures of databases and SQL query language,
  
• General knowledge about network systems and their components,
  
• Working knowledge of Windows Server administration and Linux administration (command line, troubleshooting, monitoring),
  
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container technologies, and API integration fundamentals,
  
• Fluently speaking and written in English to communicate with foreign partners and customers
