Job summary

EY Türkiye is seeking Assistants & Experienced Assistants to join Climate Change & Sustainability Services (CCaSS) teams across our offices in Bursa, Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Adana. You will support engagements, conduct analyses and help develop sustainability strategies for our clients.

The role offers exposure to diverse projects, multidisciplinary teams and opportunities to grow technical and analytical skills while working in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in environmental sciences, engineering, economics, public policy, business or related fields.
• 0 - 3 years of experience in sustainability, climate change, social impact or related roles (professional services experience is a plus).
• Knowledge or experience in GHG accounting (Scope 1-2-3) and/or LCA; sustainability reporting frameworks (ISSB/TSRS, CSRD, GRI, TCFD, SASB, CDP); environmental & social due diligence (E&S DD); decarbonisation, climate risk or net-zero planning.
• Financial literacy and ability to interpret financial statements is an advantage.
• Experience with sustainability assurance (ISAE 3000 / ISAE 3410) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish
• Ability to work collaboratively in team environments and manage multiple priorities
• Proactive, adaptable and detail-oriented with a willingness to learn
• Professional presence and confidence in engaging with client teams

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of sustainability, climate change, and reporting-related engagements.
• Conduct research, data analysis and benchmarking to identify client risks, opportunities and improvement areas.
• Assist in developing sustainability strategies, GHG inventories, decarbonisation roadmaps and climate risk assessments.
• Contribute to sustainability and climate reporting in line with ISSB/TSRS, CSRD, GRI, TCFD, SASB, CDP.
• Support environmental & social due diligence (E&S DD) assessments for transactions and major projects.
• Help prepare client presentations, proposals and technical reports.
• Work closely with engagement managers to track project timelines, deliverables and quality expectations.
• Support project documentation, workpapers and EY risk management procedures.
• Collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams across service lines.
