Job summary

KPMG Türkiye seeks an Associate to contribute to capital and debt advisory engagements, focusing on Independent Business Reviews, lender advisory and restructuring.

You will analyze historical financial performance, review business models and projections, evaluate capital structures, and prepare deal-oriented reports for clients, supporting proposals and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Engineering.
• 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in Audit, Transaction Services or Financial Advisory.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and Turkish GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills, with strong financial analysis and accounting capabilities.
• Project finance and financial modelling skills are a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• As an Associate, actively contribute to capital and debt advisory engagements, with focus on IBRs, lender advisory and restructuring.
• Perform in-depth analysis of historical financial performance (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital, net debt).
• Review and challenge business models, plans and projections, including downside scenarios.
• Evaluate capital structures and debt arrangements, including facilities, covenants and refinancing considerations.
• Prepare high-quality, deal-oriented reports and presentations with key findings and recommendations.
• Support proposal preparation and client pitches and participate in client meetings and Q&A.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Perform in-depth analysis of historical financial performance (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital, net debt), identifying key risks, trends, and value drivers,
• Review and challenge business models, business plans, and financial projections, including assessment of underlying assumptions and downside scenarios,
• Evaluate capital structures and debt arrangements, including senior and working capital facilities, funding limits, covenants and refinancing considerations,
• Prepare high-quality, deal-oriented reports and presentations, clearly articulating key findings, conclusions, and recommendations,
• Support proposal preparation and client pitches and act as a reliable day-to-day team member in client interactions, meetings, and Q&A processes.
