Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Business Process Excellence Professional at the Istanbul Tuzla Tom Depo site within the Transversal Support Division to drive process improvements in Ground and Rail logistics. You will lead initiatives, analyze workflows, and collaborate with operations, technology, and leadership to deliver measurable value.

You will design workshops, monitor KPIs, and support change management while staying current with logistics trends and technologies to continuously enhance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in process development and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and preferably Power BI experience.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced communication and coordination skills.
• No travel restrictions for field reviews and cross-location projects.
• Substantial experience in business process improvement, preferably within logistics and supply chain sectors, with specific knowledge of ground and rail transport operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business process excellence initiatives specifically within Ground and Rail logistics operations, ensuring all projects align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable value.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of current workflows using data-driven techniques including process mapping and performance analytics to uncover areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams encompassing operations, technology, project management, and leadership to cultivate a shared vision and seamless adoption of process enhancements.
• Design, facilitate, and promote continuous improvement workshops and training sessions that nurture a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
• Develop, track, and report on KPIs and other metrics to monitor process efficiency and impact of improvements.
• Support change management activities by communicating benefits, managing stakeholder expectations, and securing buy-in across functions.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarising improvement initiatives, outcomes, and recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies to suggest new approaches.

YOUR ROLE

Located at our Istanbul - Tuzla Tom Depo site and operating within the Transversal Support Division, this role is pivotal to the Management organisational unit. The position supports the strategic business unit focused on Logistics - Ground and Rail, and serves as a key driver in our ongoing commitment to enhancing supply chain performance and operational efficiency.

As a Business Process Excellence Professional, you will be entrusted with identifying and implementing process improvements that directly contribute to the organisation's agility, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and influence transformational initiatives within a dynamic logistics environment.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Lead end-to-end business process excellence initiatives specifically within Ground and Rail logistics operations, ensuring all projects align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable value.


• Conduct comprehensive analyses of current workflows using robust data-driven techniques including process mapping and performance analytics to uncover areas for improvement.


• Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams encompassing operations, technology, project management, and leadership to cultivate a shared vision and seamless adoption of process enhancements.


• Design, facilitate, and promote continuous improvement workshops and training sessions that nurture a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and proactive engagement among employees at all levels.


• Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to rigorously monitor process efficiency and the impact of implemented improvement measures.


• Support change management activities by clearly communicating the benefits of proposed process optimisations, managing stakeholder expectations, and securing buy-in across functional areas.


• Prepare detailed, insightful reports and presentations summarising process improvement initiatives, challenges, outcomes, and recommendations for senior leadership and external stakeholders.


• Stay abast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to supply chain process excellence, and proactively suggest new approaches or innovations.
