Job summary

J.P. Morgan in Turkey is hiring a country strategy and governance analyst to shape the country’s strategy and operating rhythm through analysis, planning, and reporting.

You will engage senior stakeholders, own key performance metrics, support budgeting, risk and governance activities, and coordinate reporting across lines of business. This role offers meaningful ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and exposure to strategic initiatives at a global financial services leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline such as engineering, MIS, or economics.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience, preferably within an international organization.
• Experience in business management, planning, performance management, reporting, or financial analysis in financial services.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic analysis, planning, and project activities aligned to country priorities
• Monitor business performance and prepare high-quality management reporting for senior stakeholders
• Track progress against strategy and contribute to business reviews with insights and recommendations
• Maintain awareness of local market developments and inform relevant business leaders
• Partner with lines of business to support deal and pipeline reporting, including revenue and expense tracking in reporting systems
• Contribute to annual budgeting activities and perform controls comparing budgeted results to actual performance
• Participate in new product assessment activities, including coordination support and required reporting
• Support corporate governance processes by preparing materials and meeting minutes for management and committee forums
• Assist with risk and control activities, including support for internal audit and regulatory reviews
• Support resiliency and disaster recovery activities through research, preliminary analysis, and testing support
• Help prepare Board of Managers materials and resolutions as needed

Job responsibilities

• Support strategic analysis, planning, and project activities aligned to country priorities
• Monitor business performance and prepare high-quality management reporting and presentations for senior stakeholders
• Track progress against strategy and contribute to business reviews with clear insights and recommendations
• Maintain awareness of local market developments and provide timely updates to relevant business leaders
• Partner with lines of business to support deal and pipeline reporting, including revenue and expense allocation tracking in relevant reporting systems
• Contribute to annual budgeting activities and perform controls comparing budgeted results to actual performance
• Participate in new product assessment activities, including coordination support and required reporting
• Support corporate governance processes by preparing materials and meeting minutes for management and committee forums
• Assist with risk and control activities, including support for internal audit and regulatory and supervisory reviews, and tracking closure of action items
• Support resiliency and disaster recovery activities through research, preliminary analysis, and testing support

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline such as engineering, management information systems, or economics
• Four or more years of relevant work experience, preferably within an international organization
• Experience in business management, planning, performance management, reporting, or financial analysis within a financial services environment
• Strong project management knowledge and ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Turkish
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Master's degree
• Experience supporting payments, lending, or trade finance businesses
• Experience supporting corporate governance forums and creating committee materials and minutes
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence or data mining tools used for analysis and reporting
