Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business controlling, commercial finance, FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar business partnering role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, management accounting principles, profitability drivers, and key business performance indicators.
- Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and performance management.
- Proven ability to translate financial and commercial data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand key business, customer, market, and operational drivers.
- Experience in preparing management reports, business reviews, financial analyses, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Sales, Operations, and other functions.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Power BI and ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience in the food, agriculture, FMCG, manufacturing, or trading sectors would be considered an advantage.
Job Description
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to commercial and operational teams, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Analyze financial and commercial performance, including revenue, profitability, costs, margins, growth drivers, and key performance indicators.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets, forecasts, and targets, investigate key variances, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Perform profitability and performance analyses across products, customers, markets, channels, and business segments.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and periodic business review processes.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to assess the potential impact of commercial and strategic decisions.
- Identify business risks, opportunities, and performance improvement areas through data-driven analysis.
- Prepare regular management reports, dashboards, business reviews, and decision-support materials for senior leadership.
- Work closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, and other functions to ensure alignment between commercial objectives and financial performance.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving profitability, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.
