Job summary

Allianz Türkiye is seeking a seasoned Business Architect to define and maintain architecture standards across products and functions. You will translate strategic requirements into scalable models and partner with stakeholders to drive transformations in a regulated financial services context.

The role requires 5–7 years in Business Analysis/Architecture, strong BA tools, and proficient English. Hybrid work, competitive benefits, and a focus on career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Architecture or related disciplines.
• Experience in insurance/financial services is an advantage.
• Knowledge of TOGAF/ArchiMate or similar frameworks; certification preferred.
• Experience with BPMN 2.0 and process modelling tools.
• Hands-on modelling with Visio, Lucidchart or Sparx EA.
• Good understanding of middleware; API, ESB, microservices.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum; Jira experience.
• Excellent English; strong presentation and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Business Architecture standards for Allianz products and functions.
• Translate strategy into scalable architecture models with stakeholders.
• Analyse current and target business processes and systems for improvements.
• Create target models, roadmaps and transition plans aligned with strategy.
• Support transformation initiatives and ensure architectural alignment.
• Conduct impact analysis for new initiatives from a BA perspective.
• Participate in SDLC and portfolio management to align with priorities.
• Maintain documentation and artefacts ensuring architectural consistency.

What do we expect you to bring?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Architecture or related disciplines.
• Experience in insurance, banking or financial services is a strong advantage.
• Practical knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate or similar enterprise architecture frameworks; certification is not mandatory.
• Experience in BPMN 2.0 and business process modelling.
• Hands-on experience with modelling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Sparx EA or similar.
• Good understanding of enterprise integration concepts and middleware technologies such as API, ESB and microservices.
• Practical knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• Excellent written and spoken English, along with strong documentation and presentation skills (MS PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate abstract concepts into clear models and perform impact analysis.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn new methodologies quickly.
• TOGAF, ArchiMate or similar architecture-related trainings or certifications are preferred.
• BPMN / Business Process Modelling related trainings are an advantage.
• Business Architecture or Enterprise Architecture related certifications are considered an advantage.

How can you make an impact?

• Develop and maintain Business Architecture standards for Allianz products and business functions, ensuring consistency and alignment with defined standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate strategic requirements into scalable business architecture models.
• Analyse existing and target-state business processes, systems and capabilities and identify improvement and development opportunities
• Develop target Business Architecture models, roadmaps and transition plans aligned with Allianz’s strategic objectives.
• Support business transformation initiatives by providing Business Architecture guidance and ensuring alignment between business needs and target-state solutions.
• Conduct impact analysis for new initiatives and system changes from a Business Architecture perspective.
• Takes an active role in SDLC, portfolio management activities, ensuring that projects and changes are aligned with business architecture standards an strategic priorities.
• Maintain Business Architecture documentation, models and related artefacts and ensure architectural consistency across initiatives.
