Trendyol in Istanbul is seeking an Accounting Specialist to ensure precise financial operations by managing invoice processes, monitoring expenses, and overseeing inventory with ERP systems and regular controls.

You will work in a hybrid setup with a diverse, international team, leveraging SAP-FI/MM, Excel, and analytical thinking to support budgeting, reporting, and compliance across import/export processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in management, business, economics or quantitative fields.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in ecommerce/retail.
• Export/import accounting knowledge preferred.
• SAP-FI and MM modules knowledge; basic CO/SD familiarity.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Record purchase invoices and verify prices match purchase orders and quantities with goods receipts.
• Monitor and report operating and personnel expenses per internal procedures.
• Perform ERP and e-invoicing/e-archiving integration checks and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage inventory control, ageing analysis, and stock reconciliations.
• Review trial balances and address discrepancies in a timely manner.

About the Role

As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial operations by managing invoice processes, monitoring operational expenses, overseeing inventory management, and maintaining the accuracy of accounting records through ERP systems and regular financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Recording purchase invoices and verifying that the unit prices match the prices stated in purchase orders and that invoiced quantities are consistent with the quantities recorded upon goods receipt, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the process;
• Monitoring, recording, and reporting the company's operational and personnel expenses in accordance with internal procedures and policies;
• Performing integration checks between the ERP system and e-invoicing/e-archiving platforms, ensuring the accuracy and timely resolution of any discrepancies;
• Managing inventory control processes, including inventory ageing analysis and regular physical and system-based stock reconciliations;
• Reviewing trial balances for the relevant accounts within the team's scope of responsibility, identifying potential discrepancies, and taking corrective action in a timely manner.

Expected Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree from university preferably in Management, Business, Economics and other quantitative studies,
• Preferably worked in the e-commerce & retail industry, minimum 4 years of experience in accounting,
• Preferably with knowledge of accounting for export and import processes,
• Preferably experienced in SAP-FI and MM modules, with basic level knowledge in CO and SD modules,
• Proficient in MS Office programs, with a good level of Excel knowledge,
• High written and verbal communication skills,
• Prone to teamwork,
• Having analytical perspective and problem solving skills,
• Residing on the Anatolian side of Istanbul.
