ING Hubs Türkiye is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to help advance digital asset, tokenization, and distributed financial infrastructure within ING. You will design and develop scalable backend services, APIs, and cloud-native platforms that support asset platforms.

Join a globally distributed team focused on security, reliability, and performance while collaborating with blockchain engineers and architects on innovative use cases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solution design, or architecture roles.
• Strong stakeholder management experience across business and technology domains.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working in Agile organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fluent English communication skills (C1 level or above).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable backend services and APIs.
• Develop microservice-based applications running on cloud-native platforms.
• Create robust integration solutions between internal banking systems and emerging digital asset platforms.
• Build highly available, secure, and resilient services handling financial transactions and business-critical processes.
• Participate in architecture discussions covering scalability, performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with blockchain engineers and architects on selected use cases.
