Job summary

Tire Max Tire is seeking a Manager-in-Deck (MOD) to oversee overall store performance and profitability. The role centers on guest services, expense control, HR management, and cost/shrink control to maximize sales. Base compensation ranges from $50,000 to $80,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities.

The MOD will lead people and financials, ensure policy compliance, and partner with HR on recruiting while maintaining high housekeeping and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of management or equivalent business experience in automotive industry.
• Experience coaching team members to success through effective communication.
• Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly and annual plans with clearly defined goals.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
• Automotive technician experience preferred, but not required.
• Possess valid driver’s license or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Sets expectations and communicates regularly with employees on responsibilities, goals, training and customer service.
• Ensures compliance with company policies through meetings and store audits.
• Recruits, interviews and hires new employees as needed.
• Conducts performance evaluations for all employees.
• Analyzes business trends and develops plans to maximize sales and profits.
• Maintains proper controls over assets and follows closing procedures.
• Ensures store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
• Manages returns and credits for unused parts.
