Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead service advisory activities and promote automotive services and products across our locations. You will assist in managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, documenting needs, quoting services, and promoting related products while supporting daily shop operations. Competitive compensation includes hourly pay with commission and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or an automotive related field.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.
• Possess valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and on the phone.
• Listen to and document customer's concerns; inspect vehicle and review service history.
• Recommend services and document recommendations in the customer file.
• Promote services, parts and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide customer with accurate quotes including cost and completion time.
• Cashing out procedures with a review of completed inspections and warranties.
• Follow up calls to ensure customer satisfaction after service or declined services.
• Track returns and warranty parts for individual customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
