Job summary

Ford Otosan in Turkey is seeking a driven Automotive Software Test Engineer to design and validate HIL test environments for ECU validation. The role focuses on developing test cases, executing functional tests, and tracking defects with cross-functional teams.

You will work in a hybrid setup, leveraging MATLAB/Simulink models, CAN/LIN protocols, and hands-on electronics knowledge to deliver reliable software testing outcomes while collaborating with a skilled, international team at Ford Otosan.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Electrical & Electronics, or Control Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of automotive industry experience.
• Proficient in C/C++, Python, and software testing practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and execute test cases based on requirements.
• Perform functional and diagnostic testing in HIL systems and vehicle test environments.
• Identify, analyze, report, and track software defects with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain models for I/O, sensors, actuators, and CAN/LIN/Ethernet.
• Integrate MATLAB/Simulink models within HIL environments.
• Develop and maintain HIL test environments to support ECU validation.
• Participate in Software Change Management processes.
