Job summary

Unilever in Turkey seeks an operational excellence leader for the warehouse and distribution functions. You will drive strategic transformation, CAPEX governance and savings while coordinating internal teams and external partners to deliver cost and service improvements.

The role requires 3-5 years in warehouse logistics, strong analytics, and proficiency in Excel and Power BI. Based in Umraniye/Konya, it offers full-time on-site work and a focus on safety and business continuity.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain or Distribution Operations.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale warehouse operations, capacity management and 3PL management.
• Proven experience in warehouse automation, digital transformation or operational excellence projects.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in CAPEX management, business case preparation, ROI and savings tracking.
• Demonstrated project management and cross-functional leadership experience.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence multiple functions and external partners.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic warehouse transformation and improvement projects including Network Transformation and Operational Excellence.
• Coordinate supplier data, planning, milestones, risk management and delivery follow-up for projects.
• Manage end-to-end CAPEX processes and prepare proposals and business cases.
• Develop financial calculations and forecasts for warehouse savings initiatives and track performance.
• Lead monthly reviews with factory Quality teams to analyse rejection drivers and actions.
• Maintain Global Cost to Serve dashboards and perform data-driven analyses.
• Prepare management presentations and coordinate KPI updates for site visits.
• Support Warehouse Safety CSHEC presentations and follow-up on actions.
• Collect and consolidate warehouse Business Continuity Plans and ensure alignment with standards.

Job Purpose

This role exists to drive operational excellence, transformation and continuous improvement across warehouse and distribution operations. The role leads strategic warehouse projects, CAPEX and savings governance, performance analytics, safety and business continuity activities, while coordinating internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver sustainable service, cost and operational improvements. Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic warehouse transformation and improvement projects including the Network Transformation, Future Investments, Operational Excellence, Robotics and Automation etc.
• For these projects, covering supplier coordination, data preparation, project planning, milestone tracking, risk management and delivery follow-up.
• Manage end-to-end CAPEX processes, including forecast submissions, actual spend tracking, project creation and approval workflows on system, and preparation of CAPEX proposals and business case documentation.
• Develop financial calculations and forecasts for warehouse savings initiatives, track actual performance, report progress to Finance and the PTAB Excellence team, and create projects on system with the required supporting documentation.
• Lead monthly reviews with the Konya ASRS factory Quality teams to analyse AVO rejection drivers, agree corrective actions, monitor progress and ensure timely closure.
• Manage monthly data upload and validation activities for the Global Cost to Serve programme, ensuring data completeness, consistency and timely submission.
• Use Global Cost to Serve 1.0 and 2.0 dashboards to perform detailed analyses, identify cost‑saving opportunities and support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Maintain and update the Power BI reporting solution developed for case‑picking performance monitoring, supporting operational visibility and follow‑up where required.
• Prepare management presentations for site visits and other business requirements, and coordinate the monthly warehouse KPI update presentation.
• Support preparation for the bi‑monthly Warehouse Safety CSHEC presentations and lead the Incident Investigation and Lessons Learned Committee, ensuring relevant findings and actions are effectively followed up.
• Collect and consolidate warehouse Business Continuity Plans from logistics partners; verify alignment with Unilever standards; complete required system entries in coordination with the Safety responsible; and monitor any open actions through closure.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain or Distribution Operations
• Strong knowledge of large‑scale warehouse operations, capacity management and 3PL management
• Proven experience in warehouse automation, digital transformation or operational excellence projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse automation technologies (ASRS, AMR, AGV, Robotics, Sortation systems)
• FMCG industry experience
• Knowledge of SAP EWM, WMS platforms and warehouse analytics tools
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent continuous improvement certification
• Experience in network optimization, Cost‑to‑Serve or logistics transformation programs
• Knowledge of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and warehouse safety governance
