Job summary

Döhler Türkiye is seeking a Manager Analytical Science for the Karaman Plant. You will lead the analytical laboratory, manage the team, and coordinate LIMS development, ensuring compliant, timely analyses and continuous improvement across accreditation processes.

The role focuses on lab management rather than R&D, requiring a strong background in instrumental analyses (ICP-MS, HPLC, GC-MS/MS) and extensive quality system experience. Candidates should be based in Karaman or willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Bioengineering.
• 5+ years in an analytical laboratory experience.
• Proven experience in laboratory and/or team management.
• Experience in quality systems, documentation, and accreditation processes.
• Proficiency in instrumental food analyses and related regulations.
• Experience with analytical instruments (ICP-MS, HPLC, IC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS).
• Knowledge of TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and accreditation.
• Proficiency in LIMS or similar laboratory information systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• English proficiency and willingness to relocate to Karaman.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Karaman Analytical Laboratory and ensure analyses are accurate and on time.
• Manage, coordinate, and develop the laboratory team; plan workloads and resources.
• Conduct analytic analyses and evaluate results; monitor instrument performance.
• Ensure use and development of LIMS software and reporting.
• Coordinate method validation, verification, and optimization with relevant teams.
• Maintain calibration, verification, and performance monitoring of instruments.
• Ensure ISO/IEC 17025 compliance and quality control studies.
• Report laboratory performance and improvement areas to management.
