Job summary

ICterra Bilgi ve İletişim Teknolojileri is seeking an experienced Analyst & Tester to join our Payment Orchestration and Payment Gateway projects in Istanbul. You will analyze and test payment processes, ensuring robust integrations across banks, acquirers, PSPs, and payment platforms.

The role requires hands-on experience with REST/SOAP API testing, SQL (Oracle PL/SQL), and working knowledge of testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, and Swagger.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business/system analysis, software testing, or QA.
• Hands-on experience in Payment Gateway and/or Payment Orchestration projects.
• Strong REST/SOAP API testing experience.
• Good knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, HP ALM.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document payment process requirements and integrations.
• Create functional analysis documents, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Test integrations with banks, acquirers, PSPs, and payment platforms.
• Validate end-to-end payment flows including authorization, 3D Secure, capture, refunds, and settlement.
• Perform REST/SOAP API testing using Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Track defects and support root cause analysis for payment and integration issues.

We are looking for an experienced Analyst & Tester who will take an active role in the analysis and testing of Payment Orchestration and Payment Gateway solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business and system requirements related to payment processes and integrations.
• Prepare functional analysis documents, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
• Analyze and test integrations with banks, acquirers, PSPs, and payment platforms.
• Validate end-to-end payment flows including authorization, 3D Secure, capture, refund, cancellation/void, reversal, retry, reconciliation, and settlement.
• Test payment routing, fallback, timeout, callback/webhook, error-handling, and transaction status scenarios.
• Perform REST/SOAP API testing using Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Validate transaction data and business rules using Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
• Analyze transaction and application logs using Kibana / Elasticsearch.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, UAT, and production validation tests.
• Track defects and support root cause analysis for payment and integration issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business/system analysis, software testing, or QA.
• Hands‑on experience in Payment Gateway and/or Payment Orchestration projects.
• Strong knowledge of payment processes such as authorization, capture, refund, reversal, reconciliation, and settlement.
• Experience with bank, acquirer, PSP, or payment institution integrations.
• Experience in high-volume transactional environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong REST/SOAP API testing experience.
• Good knowledge of SQL and hands‑on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of payment routing, retry, fallback, timeout, idempotency, and transaction consistency concepts.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar tools.
• Experience with Kibana / Elasticsearch is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
